Linguists have informed that these Taka people reached and ruled in the region of Dhaka of Bangla Desh, since the word ' Dhaka' is a linguistic (Pali) variation of Taka.〔Bulletin of the Deccan Research Institute, Vol I (1939-40) p.192〕 In the second act of Sanskrit play ''mrcchakatika'' a dialect has been used by author, known as Takki.
